Artist Statement:
Moving to the music of life
lost in folds of the fabric of reality and its lesser known variations,
obsessed with deepening my understanding.
This is research.
We speak in dynamic abstraction
every interaction:
a two way street
@ the intersection of time and space.
When we meet eye to eye in this present moment
may we see past this illusion,
and allow the truth to reflect light into our souls.
I crack a smile; deep doesn’t mean serious.
My spirit is alive, and my senses are open.

Sustain (2023)
A short solo I created and presented entitled, Sustain, about being a lifelong vegan. This was part of a concert, Concrete Bouquet (October 2023) curated by my classmate Alyssa Lucas, to raise awareness for climate change. It that was held at Theatre in the Open in Maudslay State Park in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Music: Transparent Background by Sam Gendel.
My second semester composition project. This piece explores the process of realization that you are in control of whatever “parasite” seems to be controlling you. The parasite, is any kind of toxic attachment, thought pattern, or obsession, and even though you are aware of its negative impact you can’t let it go, until you exhibit your own will power to stop the cycle from continuing to repeat. Featuring dancers Hannah Bilodeau and Lucia Taylor.
My first semester composition solo at the Boston Conservatory. Based around the idea the we are constantly in state of being "observed." Explores the idea that the individual is both the observer and the observed, and to escape the cycle of judgement and comparison, you must remove yourself completely.
